Marilyn Musgrave, United States Congresswoman |
| |
 |
Marilyn Musgrave is a life-long Coloradan
and has lived in the Fourth Congressional District all
her life. She was raised in rural Weld County and
graduated from Eaton High School. Marilyn attended
Colorado State University where she met and married
Steve Musgrave. After college, Steve and Marilyn went on
to teach school in Fort Morgan and they operated a hay
farm for over twenty years in eastern Colorado. Marilyn
began her public service in 1990 and has served on the
Morgan County school board, in the Colorado State House
of Representatives, in the Colorado State Senate, and in
the United States Congress. |
|
Marilyn is currently serving in her
third term as Representative of Colorado’s Fourth
Congressional District. She is a member of the House
Committee on Agriculture, where she serves as Ranking
Member on the House Subcommittee on Specialty Crops,
Foreign Agriculture, and Rural Development. Marilyn is
also a member of the House Committee on Small Business.
Since first being elected in November of
2002, Marilyn has taken great pride in standing up for
the common sense values that Coloradans share. She has
been a leader for agriculture, 2nd Amendment rights,
lower taxes, limited government, and education.
Additionally, Marilyn has fought hard for all the men
and women who have served in the United States military
and worked to ensure they received the benefits due them
for their courageous sacrifice.
